Bangladesh Association organized a successful picnic celebrating Bangladesh Independence Day on March 25, 2007 at Christia Adair Park. Despite unfavorable weather, there were more than 600 people in this very exciting picnic. The picnic was a fun full day with sports, Pitha Utshob, and various children’s activities.
Of course this year Independence Day picnic highlights was the live telecast of the Bangladesh vs. Bermuda cricket match. As we all know, the young Tigers advanced to the super eight in the world cup for the first time. We congratulate the Bangladesh Cricket team members on their success.
Certainly we could not have done this memorable event without the hard work of dedicating volunteers and your active participations. And for that we thank you.
