Batayon – A proud history of Bangladeshis living in Houston, Texas (5 of 7)

Batayon is documentary produced in 2002 about the Bangladeshis living in Houston, Texas. The story starts at 25th March, 1971 and walks through the period of Liberation War of 1971, the role of the few valiant students at the University of Houston in 1971 and how they had formed Bangladesh Association later on. Then the documentary shows how the Bangladeshis in Houston united together to buy a 4 acre land of their own and how they are building their community center named Bangladesh American Center.
