Recently several of our community members and their family members fell ill, some have been hospitalized; some are in critical condition and some returned from hospital and recovering. Bangladesh Association, Houston hosted a prayer vigil for their fast recovery on October 3rd, 2010.  Click here for a short video clip (taken by Nikon D300s camera)

         BAH Iftar Held at Bangladesh American Center  BAH Iftar party was held on Sunday, Ausust 22, 2010 at the Bangladesh American Center. The Iftar and prayer were participated by large number of community members. Please see photos in "2010 BAH Iftar Party" in our photo gallery.

His Excellency, Mr. Akramul Qader, The Ambassador of People’s Republic of Bangladesh to USA unveiled the newly designed web site of Bangladesh Association and newly erected Shaheed Minar at BAC during his visit to Houston on May 16th, 2010.

Our dearest friend, ex-Director of Cultural Affairs of Bangladesh Association, an avid fan of FOBANA, a dedicated community volunteer, Abu Naser Tinky passed away on March 4 evening in a massive heart attack (Inna…razeun). A doa was held at BAC for his departed soul on Sunday March 7 and over 350 people gathered there to pray for his departed soul.
