Bangladesh Association, Houston (BAH) Board decided election to be held on Saturday, December 17, Sunday, December 18 2022 at the premises of Bangladesh-American Center.
There may be early voting dates in several locations also be determined.  All voters must be present to cast their ballots.
As per Article XI, Section 1 of the constitution BAH is required to appoint a three-member committee at least 2 months prior to the election date.
Mr. Afzal Ahmed has been appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner.  Mr. Nurul Khan (Tara),  and Mr. Hafizur Rahman will be the other two members of the commission.
As per Article XI, Section 3 (d), a final eligible voter list, certified by the Secretary General of BAH, will be provided to the Election Commission prior to the election. Any member and voter list related questions should be addressed to Bangladesh Association Board of Directors instead of the Election Commission.
Bangladesh Association believes in free and fair election procedures as outlined in Article XI of the constitution. The appointed members of the Election Commission also pledged to conduct all matters of the election as per the constitution.
