Fobana 2009 Townhall Meeting on Oct 26, 2008

Town-Hall meeting was held last Sunday October 26, 2008 at Maharaja Restaurant for the upcoming FOBANA in 2009 in Houston. About 100 community members attended this meeting. Afzal Ahmed started the Town-Hall meeting by welcoming everyone. Respected Dr. S. Alam and Dr. Khandaker M.A. Rahman (Sir) gave short speeches. Bangladesh Association has passed a resolution to create an independent and autonomous FOBANA "Houston Host Committee" which will oversee all aspects of FOBANA. Such a move was taken to include everyone in the community regardless of their affiliation to one organization or other.
